With a tech sales background and over half a decade of experience writing marketing material, I understand what it takes to move your audience from “never heard of them” to “I love their stuff.”

I always knew I wanted to be a writer. But for too long I believed that writers didn’t earn any money. Until I realized that I’d never know if that were true until I actually tried it. 

So in 2018, I took the plunge. I quit my stable job in tech sales and became a blockchain content marketer. I quickly learned that, in fact, writers do earn money. But you have to be willing to put in the hours. Which I did, and still do.

Blockchain became my area of focus because I believe it’s a once-in-a-generation invention, but also an industry with a marketing problem. I bridge the marketing gap. I turn complex blockchain concepts into clear and compelling narrative. Hence Block Narrative.

Blockchain Expertise

I don’t just write about blockchain technology. I’m a part of the industry: I trade memecoins, I read Vitalik’s blog posts, and I’m in little communities on Telegram. I experiment a lot, partly out of curiosity but also because I believe that the best writers have practical experience in their niche.

Clearly, you’re on this website because you want really good blockchain content. Come on, admit it. I see you lurking in Google Analytics, unique visitor. But that’s fine, because you shouldn’t want anything less than stellar content. I like to think that’s what I create too.

Fast, Open Communication

I’m a 90s kid. I grew up online. I played FPS games for thousands of hours when I was a kid. Latency matters and lag sucks: No slow communication here. Message me wherever you want and I’ll get back to you within a day. Wanna call me? Call me. I want you to have an open line of communication with me.

A Willingness to work Hard

I think it goes without saying that a content marketer should be willing to work hard for great content, but I’m consistently surprised how this is not a given. Well, for me it is. I don’t do weird “max 3 edits per article” rules. I work until you’re happy. Simple as that.

Beyond the Marketing Life:

The best work is done together with people you like. So here’s a little about me that goes beyond my work as a blockchain copywriter and content marketer.

  • I ran 100 meters in 10″88: In my late teens and early twenties, I was a semi-professional sprinter whose personal best on the 100-meter dash was 10″88.
  • I’m a happy husband and father: I’m the husband of a wonderful woman who I secretly suspect is more intelligent than I am (never tell her this is on my website), as well as the proud father of a baby girl who’s already aware how easily manipulable I am.
  • I squeeze in some gaming: I’ve been a PC gamer since my early teens. My favourite games are Half-Life 2, Mass Effect 2, and Red Dead Redemption 2. Something about those sequels.
  • I write fiction: My love for writing extends beyond copywriting and content marketing. I also write fiction. Ask me about a story I’m particularly proud of and I’ll send it over.
